Data Centralisation
Across the hospitality sector, operators running multiple sites face the same invisible tax: hours each week spent manually pulling sales figures, reconciling delivery platform data, and fielding repetitive customer messages. Dataverse solves this end-to-end, from data ingestion to customer-facing automation.
Every Monday, someone was spending the morning copying numbers from three different systems into a spreadsheet. By the time there was a clear picture of the week, it was already Tuesday afternoon. Now a digest lands automatically before the day starts. That time goes back into running the business.

The Challenge
Operators running multiple sites typically have EPOS, reservation, and delivery platform accounts that were never designed to talk to each other. Reporting is a manual process of exports, copy-paste, and reconciliation repeated every week by a manager who should be on the floor. Customer enquiries via WhatsApp about menus, allergens, and bookings go unanswered for hours during service, directly affecting conversion and guest satisfaction.
3 to 5 hours per site per week lost to manual sales consolidation and reporting
No unified view of performance across sites, forcing decisions on stale data
Inbound WhatsApp messages unanswered during service with staff pulled from the floor to respond
Delivery, dine-in, and reservation revenue sitting in separate systems with no reconciliation
The solution
Dataverse ingested data from EPOS, reservation, and delivery accounts into a centralised BigQuery warehouse via Hevo and Airbyte pipelines. dbt models cleaned, standardised, and layered the data into consistent metrics. A Looker Studio dashboard provided live site-by-site performance visibility. An n8n automation generated and distributed a weekly digest with zero manual input. A WhatsApp bot trained on menus, allergen info, hours, and booking policy was deployed via the WhatsApp Cloud API to handle inbound messages autonomously, with escalation logic for complex queries.
Centralised BigQuery warehouse ingesting live data from all sites and platforms
dbt transformation layer creating clean, consistent metrics across all sources
Automated weekly performance digest triggered, built, and sent with no human input
WhatsApp bot handling bookings, menu questions, and allergen queries around the clock
Airtable used as the operational hub for escalated queries and staff task tracking
